We’re continuously finding new and innovative ways to tackle disease
At ForDoz, our proprietary particle-based drug delivery technology and Long Acting Injectable (LAI) platforms have enabled us to design and develop innovative complex injectable products in different therapeutical areas to benefit patients with severe and chronic diseases.
All our products have been and will be manufactured in our unique cGMP sterile production facility with the highest quality.
Technology
-
Nanoparticle drug delivery systems are engineered technologies that use nanoparticles for the targeted delivery and controlled release of therapeutic agents.
LIPOSOMES
Liposomes are phospholipid-based nanoparticles that encapsulate pharmaceutical agents. Liposomes can be formulated to improve the therapeutic index of drugs and enhance solubility.
NANOSUSPENSIONS
A nanosuspension is a stabilized liquid dispersion made of pure drug particles with sizes in the nanometer range. The physical and biological properties of drug materials are altered when transformed into nano dimensions, which results in improved pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics for poorly soluble drugs.
MICELLES
Micelles are nanoscopic core/shell particles formed by amphiphilic molecules, like phospholipids or polymers. In an aqueous solution, these molecule aggregates are particularly well suited for drug delivery purposes. Micelles can be used to carry drug substance and deliver to body tissues and cells.
-
Long-acting injectable (LAI) technology is a delivery system that, when injected, allows for the slow release of drugs into the bloodstream over a long period of time.
MICROSPHERES
Microspheres are polymer-based technology in which pharmaceutical agents are encapsulated in polymeric matrices. This formulation controls drug delivery rates and enhance drug stability.
MICRO-SUSPENSIONS
Micro-suspension-based drug delivery systems are designed for the formulation of poorly soluble drugs. The particles of poorly soluble drugs are micronized and dispensed in a suspension to delay the release and extend the efficacy of the therapeutic agents.
INJECTABLE IN SITU FORMING DEPOTS
Injectable in situ forming depots (ISDs) are drug delivery systems that, when injected into the body as a liquid, will solidify into a gel or depot at the injection site and slowly release over a period of time.
